The District has a total revenue loss of eight million dollars annually due to the closing of the Beckjord plant and the devaluation of the Zimmer plant. The additional tax revenue is required to avoid a fiscal emergency, provide a quality education to our children, and retain our property value.

Home owners will pay approximately $27 a month per $100k of market or appraised value. That’s less than $1 a day. The levy will be used for updates to curriculum, safety, and support for extra-curricular activities. 

The State of Ohio will declare a FISCAL EMERGENCY for our district. We will see a severe reduction in bus services, specials, athletics and after school programs. There will be additional staff reductions and class sizes will increase significantly. Our property values will plummet.
